Garland with a heart on February 14
Soon, February 14, Valentine's Day, a Christmas garland is still hanging on the window with address LEDs, and I decided to diversify it a bit. I wrote a simple script and added a colorful heart to the firmware.
There was already a post and video about this garland , it works on Arduino with Alex Guyver firmware. I did not write something of my own, just supplemented the firmware with my new effect.
Watch the video, there is instructions on how to do this, the archive with my firmware can be downloaded from the link.
From the street, the heart looks generally awesome! :)

It’s 2024, stores are already selling robotic vacuum cleaners, and you can even buy used ones for a reasonable price. And I still dream of assembling my own robot vacuum cleaner with my own hands.

I need a tachometer to calculate some mechanisms. For example, to calculate the speed of a robot vacuum cleaner, you need to know the rotation speed of the electric motor and, based on this, calculate the gear ratio of the gearbox.

This article is about how I collect my robot vacuum cleaner. There are a lot of photos and videos for those who also have such an idea.

This is my first CNC machine assembled with my own hands from available materials. The cost price of the machine is about $170.

This cool garland is assembled according to the design of Alex Hyvera using Arduino and an address LED strip. The garland has many interesting effects, a running text, several games and the ability to control all this from a mobile phone.
